Two Teas, Two Distinct Styles

Explore two expressions of Phoenix Dancong oolong from Chaozhou, China: the high floral aroma of Ya Shi Xiang and the honey-like fragrance of Mi Lan Xiang. Grown at approximately 800 meters above sea level, these teas offer contrasting styles to compare side by side or enjoy in your daily rotation.

Ya Shi Xiang — Floral & Refreshing

Lightly roasted to highlight its expressive floral aroma, Ya Shi Xiang offers a refreshing taste. Enjoy the fragrance rising from the warm leaves, then follow its character through successive infusions. With the brewing method below, it can yield more than 15 infusions.

Mi Lan Xiang — Honey Aroma & Full Body

Medium-roasted Mi Lan Xiang brings a honey-like aroma and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Its pronounced returning sweetness lingers after swallowing, offering a satisfying contrast to Ya Shi Xiang’s refreshing profile.

What’s Included

  • Ya Shi Xiang: 50 g
  • Mi Lan Xiang: 50 g
  • Total net weight: 100 g / approximately 3.53 oz
  • Two individually packed tea tins.

Brewing Guide

Use 7 g of tea with 110 mL of water at 100°C / 212°F in a gaiwan or small teapot.

For Ya Shi Xiang, pour off promptly for the first five infusions, then gradually extend the steeping time from the sixth infusion onward. For Mi Lan Xiang, begin with quick infusions and lengthen subsequent steeps as the flavor softens. Drain fully between infusions and adjust to taste.
